firefighters-ball-2016It’s time again for the Annual Stanley Firefighters’ Ball, our favorite yearly party to celebrate all the time and effort of our area’s emergency volunteers. These awesome individuals sacrifice a lot throughout the year to ensure that we’re enjoying the Sawtooths in safety, so this is a great opportunity to say “THANK YOU!”

The annual event takes place at Redfish Lake Lodge this Saturday, and it includes great food and drinks, a sweet Silent Auction, great Live Music from Boise band, Soul Patch – who plays a wide range of classic hit songs, and so much more. We really hope you’ll join us for an epic event! All proceeds earned support the Stanley Ambulance Volunteers and the Sawtooth Valley Rural Fire Department, so every penny you spend could save your life some day.

**FREE Shuttle will run from Stanley to Redfish Lake Lodge, with a stop at Mountain Village.

– Silent Auction from 8 – 11pm, featuring excellent items from businesses located throughout the Sawtooth, Wood River, and Treasure Valleys, and beyond.

– Live Music from 9pm – 12am, featuring spectacular Boise band, Soul Patch, who specialize in performing famous songs from a wide array of musical styles – from country to classic rock to pop hits and beyond – that will keep you dancing all night long!

– Food & Drinks served all night at the Redfish Gazebo.

– Alcoholic Beverages served all night in the Rustic Lounge.   

– FREE Shuttle from Stanley to Redfish Lake Lodge from 7pm – 1am, stops at Mountain Village Resort and Ace of Diamonds St. in Stanley.

The duo plays an excellent mix of country and folk music that has a sweet mountain bluegrass vibe and they fit perfectly into the atmosphere of the Mountain Village Saloon.

They’ll be joined by one of our favorite local bands, Tylor & The Train Robbers, who have been keeping a rowdy watch on the area’s mountain stages for several years. We can’t wait to continue the MusicFest celebration with Round 2 this Saturday! The list of some of the most incredible bands Stanley, Idaho has ever seen continues with another excellent lineup that features some super special female performers. This is an all-day event that will pack an incredible amount of entertainment onto a single stage over several hours. Bands include:

  • Suzy Bogguss’ incredible lyrics and soulful vocals skillfully weave into classic country sounds for a musical experience you won’t soon forget
  • Carrie Rodirguez has made a great name for herself throughout the country music world with a combination of magical fiddling skills and beautiful vocals
  • Jeanne Jolly combines a respect for her country, folk, and soulful musical roots with a love of earthy musical sounds and an innate sense for intimate lyrical poetry
  • Bri Bagwell is a fun-loving performer that lets her incredible voice, catchy lyrics, and heartfelt singing speak volumes for her
  • Eilen Jewell is an extremely talented Boise native who started her musical career by “busking” as a street performer and now shares her passions on stage

John D Hale Band is a rowdy foursome from Jackson, Missouri, mashing up influences from Americana, Southern rock, and a bit of bluegrass for a country sound that is all their own

Two Tons of Steel is an awesome San Antonio-based band that is widely known throughout the music world for developing a rare Americana, Texas country sound

Kenny Saunders & Friends is a great gathering of Boise-based musicians that blends acoustic Americana and Western folk with a flair for fun performance

Matt Skinner Band is a group of 4 friends from the Front Range of Colorado, well known for their skillful fusion of alt-country and roots-rock that results in a high-energy brand of rocking country music
